Hand in Hand Tutors

We are thrilled to be teamed up with South Elementary School with our 13 tutors, a 9-member prayer group, 8-member encouragement team, as well as other volunteers. The school received some unexpected resources from Communities in Schools of North Carolina (CIS). Pictured are staff and some of the tutors who received books to take back to their students. A wonderful meal was served by our youth group.

Christian Help Center
The Christian Help Center of Roxboro, NC, an ecumenical endeavor, is staffed by volunteers from our church on a regular basis. Our outreach consists of supplying, preparing and serving lunch on a regular basis to those in need. In addition to a hot lunch, other needs are also met with toiletries, staple items, and clothing.
