Rev. Miller worked fourteen years as a coal miner in West Virginia before answering the call to ministry. He answered that call by first pursuing his education. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible from Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky; Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY. He is currently working on his dissertation for a Doctor of Ministry degree in church leadership from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC.

Rev. Miller serves on the Conference Board of Ordained Ministry, the Conference Board of Insurance, the Conference Committee on Incapacity, and the Conference Board of Sexual Ethics.

The Pastor holds a Bible Study each Wednesday at 10 AM.
